Family Media Agreements

Where does technology fit into your child's education? We likely each have our own opinions on this matter, so where do you strike the balance?  There's no shortage of apps, websites and games that claim to be educational. Whether it's improving vocabulary or teaching critical thinking skills, there are lots of fun digital activities for kids.

To kick off the 2017 Week of Digital Citizenship, first watch the video below to find out what's really best for education-related technology.  THEN, check out our STEAM Resources page for Common Sense Media's Family Media Agreement forms!  Whether your child is just learning to use a technology device as a first grader, or they're introducing you to new apps and sites daily as a high school student, there's an agreement here for you! Have the tough conversations, set the expectations and ensure that your child is a respectful and responsible digital citizen in exchange for their (intentional and responsible) use of those highly-hicovetted devices!
