Has anyone ever told you that you have a green thumb?  Do you like to cook using fresh ingredients?  Do you like to play in the dirt?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then maybe Garden Club is for you!  Mr. Gallagher and last year's Garden Guardians are looking to expand their group by adding interested 6th, 7th, and 8th graders this year.  Please let us know if you want to join or would like more information by clicking on this
link and filling out the Google Form.

Congratulations to our 7th and 8th Grade Jazz Bands for a successful weekend at the Indiana State University Jazz Festival. The 8th Grade Jazz  Band was named “Top Middle School Band” of the competition. Outstanding soloists and musicians recognized were Logan Anderson, Carter Buehl, Aidan Kinser, Luke Garrett, and the 7th Grade Brass Section.

Edgewood Indoor Winter Percussion placed 4th this weekend at the Franklin Community HS percussion contest and they will be performing at halftime of the JV game this Thursday at the high school basketball game. The EHS Winter Guard will be performing at halftime of the varsity game as well. During the game, support these winter groups at a chili fundraiser in the EHS Cafeteria. A bowl of chili will cost $3.

The deadline is rapidly approaching for the Box Tops For Education submission. There is a Grand Prize of a $20 Amazon gift card. Every five Box Tops donated will earn an entry into the drawing. Please collect as many Box Tops as you can! Who knows, you just might be the lucky winner of the Grand Prize!

Japan Club will meet this Wednesday, February 20th, from 2:30-3:30 pm in Room 112.
