EDGEWOOD EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER
  • Online registration opens Wednesday, July 19.
  • Open House: Wednesday, August 2, 3:30 - 5:30 PM (Drop off supplies and meet teachers.)
  • NEW students to RBBCSC need to contact the Early Childhood Center to enroll.
EDGEWOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL
  • Online registration opens Wednesday, July 19.
  • Open House: Wednesday, August 2, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM (Drop off supplies and meet teachers.)
    NEW students to RBBCSC need to be registered in person on either Tuesday, July 25 or Wednesday, July 26 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

  • NEW students to RBBCSC need to be registered in person on either Tuesday, July 25 or Wednesday July 26 from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM. 
EDGEWOOD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 
  • On-line registration for returning students will begin July 19 and should be completed before Chromebook pick-up at EJHS on July 31 or August 1 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
  • Parents should login to their Harmony 3 Family Access account to complete all forms. Student schedules will be available on July 28 after 3:00 PM.
  • NEW students to RBBCSC should contact the office starting July 19 to make arrangements for enrollment.
EDGEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL
July 19
- Online Registration opens in Harmony* for returning students.
- NEW students to RBBCSC should call the high school office to set up an appointment for enrollment on July 20 or later.
August 1
- Schedules available in Harmony.
- Notifications will be sent by email after the start of the school year when book fee statements are available.
- EHS open for students to find classrooms/lockers - 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Mustang Kick-Off for freshmen 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. There will be a parent meeting at 5:30 PM in the auditorium. The information covered in this meeting will also be covered at EHS Open House.
August 3
- Chromebooks will be distributed in homerooms

Did you know they'll be working on new Chromebooks this year, to both consume and create information?  Check out teachers from all three of R-BB's elementary schools working with Technology Integration Specialists from Five-Star Technology, to learn new ways to harness education technology tools to empower our youngest learners and prepare them for the growing digital world!

STEAM Night This Thursday!

Join us for our first annual STEAM FEST this Thursday evening behind EPS and EIS! Three local food vendors will begin selling their tasty menus at 5:00, community partners will share the exciting programs and projects they offer from 5:30 - 6:30, then R-BB students will showcase their own projects through hands-on stations in each building from 6:30 - 7:30!  Science fair projects will also be on display all even at EIS. Be sure to stay for the raffle drawings at 7:45!

National History Day Contest Winners!

Congratulations to all five EJHS National History Day contestants who made it through the regional contest at Brown County High School on Saturday, April 1st! Sydney Dilts, Stevie Farley, Olivia Werner, Annalyssa Crain, and Savannah Sigman (shown with team sponsor Mr. John Sigman, above) will be competing in the National History Day in Indiana State Contest on Saturday, May 6th, at the Ivy Tech Downtown Indianapolis Campus. Winners at the state contest move on to the National History Day Contest June 11-15 at the University of Maryland. Go Colts!

EJHS Virtual Book Fair

Great News! EJHS has decided to try something new. A virtual online book fair is available at BooksRockCafe.com. Orders can be placed at any time and the delivery fee to the EJHS Media Center is only $1 for the entire order. After May 12, orders can be sent to home addresses at a cost of $3.95 per order. Once students return in August, orders may again be shipped to EJHS.

You must first set up an online account using a debit or credit card. EJHS will receive funds from these sales and this is a great way to keep students reading through the summer!

EJHS Color Guard

The members of the EJHS Color Guard Team concluded their season with a visit to Indiana University for a presentation by the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Mrs. Taft enjoyed coaching these young ladies this season and all enjoyed this special ballet presentation.

EJHS Hosts Science Girls' STEM Careers Workshop

Thanks to Ms. Cagle and Mrs. Phillips for hosting EJHS' Science Girl's STEM Careers Workshop where 39 girls took a quiz to find out their STEM Type and then explored possible job opportunities. They then followed it up with a visit to the theater to see the movie#HiddenFigures about the African American female "Computers" who contributed their mathematical skills to the space race in the 1960s. What a fun #girlsinSTEM night!

RBBCSC VEX IQ Robotics Competition, Jan 14th, 9am to 12 PM

Saturday, January 14th, Stinesville Elementary School will be hosting the VEX IQ Robotics Competition.  A few area elementary schools along with our elementary robotics teams will compete with 10-12  students from each school working collaboratively to drive robots they built this Fall.   The event is open to the public from 9am to 12pm.  Come see the great things these students our doing!

Scholastic Book Fair & Box Tops For Education

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to EJHS! The fair will be held October 18th-25th in the library. An online fair will also be available from October 13th-26th and you should use the following link for free shipping:  ONLINE BOOK FAIR

Parent volunteers are needed to help with the Fair! Please fill out the online volunteer form if you haven't already done so, and contact Mrs. Grubb in the library to arrange a date and time.


Do you collect Box Tops? Please turn those box tops in to Mrs. Grubb in the Library ASAP. The first submission is fast approaching and she will need them to send in on October 26th. Any student donating five or more box tops has a chance to win the grand prize of a $20 gift card!

Working Offline on Chromebooks

Would you like to work on Google Docs when WiFi is down or you don't have WiFi at home? This short 2 minute video will show you how to change settings in Google Drive and allow you to work without WiFi. Then the next time your Chromebook accesses WiFi and you open the document, all edits and work will be saved!

Art Club & Yearbook Info

Art Club meets on Thursday every week (unless announced otherwise) after school until 3:30 pm in Room 216 with Mrs. Millick. Pick up is at Entrance 1.

Art Club members will be walking in the Monroe County Fall Festival Parade on September 17th and will meet in the high school parking lot at 11 am. A parent permission form is located here. Please return the form before the parade date.

Yearbook Club is currently meeting as needed on Fridays after school until 3:30 pm in the computer lab with Mrs. Millick and Mrs. Erickson. Pickup is at Entrance 1. Meetings will always be on announcements the week of the meeting.

If parents would like to contribute photos for either the yearbook or the 8th grade end-of-year slideshow, they can go to the Jostens ReplayIt page to create an account or to download the app. Either will allow them to tag and upload photos into the proper categories once they choose our school.

Colts Kick-Off

The Colts Kick-Off is coming! Please join us this Friday, August 26th from 5-7 pm on the road between EJHS and EHS for this year's Colts Kick-Off. There will be lots of family-oriented activities including the Colts Mobile Museum and Cheerleaders, a FREE concert by Reece Phillips, the MCPL Bookmobile, as well as food and drink sold by some of our clubs/students.
